Synopsis
Two brother’s are playing in a field when one is savaged by a vampire, the other comes to the rescue too late. The film jumps to the future where the older brother Daniel (Adam Horwood), has become a doctor and is still taking care of his younger brother Jacob (Carl Prekopp).
Jacob has been kept safe in the family home by Daniel who has been stealing blood from patients to feed him. Jacob has been sick his whole life, but is becoming more dangerous everyday. Daniel falls in love with a nurse, Madelaine Knight (Charlotte Melen) and decides to end his brother’s unnatural existence, but Jacob has other ideas. Set in the English coastal village of Hastings, the film follows the adventures of two brothers and their desperate quest for survival.
The film is a brilliant example of what can be achieved with no funding. Shot on Super 16mm film and mini DV the film brings to life the script of David Bryant, England’s latest edition to Danny Boyle and stars the new Begbie, Carl Prekopp.
